Toms Snowboarding…

Hey, I’m a BASI Qualified Snowboard Instructor, and live near Bristol in the UK. The last couple of seasons I’ve been out in Bansko, Bulgaria teaching for Method Snow School, and this up-coming season I’m in Canada.

Here’s a list of snowsport and relevant qualifications;

• British Association of Snowsport Instructors (BASI) Level 2 Snowboard Instructor.
• Currently training and working my way towards BASI Level 3 ISIA qualification.
• Safeguarding & Protecting Children Certificate.
• St Johns Ambulance CPR & Outside Activities First Aid Course.
• Clean CRB Criminal Background Check.
• Sports Coach UK ‘Sports Physiology’ Module.
• Sports Coach UK ‘Structure of the Body’ Module.
• Beginner/Intermediate level French speaking, reading and writing.
• Over 250 hours of instructing and 70 hours of shadowing.
• Writing an research project looking at how psychology affects students learning to snowboard.
